Passover is going to look a little different from many households this year. Families and friends would normally gather together to mark the holiday, which falls on Wednesday, April 8 and Thursday, April 9 this year. However, due to the novel coronavirus pandemic and rules around social distancing, those big Seder dinners may be a smaller than usual.
Despite the new reality, some restaurants and bakeries around the southeast Michigan region are still prepared to cater the feast. Whether you’re looking for a warm bowl of matzo ball soup, a coconut macaroon, or gefilte fish with horseradish, below is a guide to delis and bake shops still offering takeout, delivery, and mail order essentials for Passover. Customers who follow strict dietary rules should confirm whether their chosen restaurant follows those guidelines.
