With Adient expected to move into Marquette Building, there's not much prime space left downtown #DetroitNews
Kirk Pinho - If all goes as planned, Adient Ltd. will move about 500 people into the Marquette Building in downtown Detroit, as Crain's first reported Monday. This is important for a number of reasons, not the least of which is bringing an influx of new workers to the downtown core and what would easily be millions of dollars of investment renovating and building out the largely-vacant 164,000-square-foot building at 243 W. Congress St. But here is the kicker: The building was bought in December 2014 for $5.
