Prominent academic, author, and activist Dr. Cornel West and actor Danny Glover will be paying a visit to New Center today with a stop at Afro-Caribbean restaurant Yum Village. Owner Godwin Ihentuge confirms to Eater that the pair will arrive around noon to speak to voters ahead of the Michigan state primary on Tuesday, March 10.

The pair along with State House Representative Isaac Robinson are expected to make the stop for around 20 minutes on Friday. Both West and Glover are supporters of Senator Bernie Sanders. West is schedule to speak tonight at a Sanders campaign event tonight at TCF Center in downtown Detroit. They’ll be joined by Representative Rashida Tlaib and Detroit City Council member Mary Sheffield.

Sanders, who is vying for the Democratic presidential nomination against former Vice President Joe Biden, canceled a previously scheduled event this week in Mississippi to return to Michigan.
