Where to Find Paczki in Ann Arbor #DetroitFood
A guide to Tree Town spots serving Polish doughnuts on Fat Tuesday
On Paczki Day many Polish doughnut devotees from across Southeast Michigan will make the journey to one of metro Detroit’s many, many bakeries serving the Fat Tuesday specialty. Some might even travel to Hamtramck for a day of standing in long lines and partying in bars with shots of (barely) blackberry-flavored jezynowka. It can be quite an investment of time — especially on a work day. Fortunately, folks in Ann Arbor don’t have to search too far for a paczki. There are a handful of places offering the filled-and-fried good stuff closer to Tree Town — both made in-house or sourced from bakeries at the epicenter of the paczki madness. Here’s where to find paczki in Ann Arbor on Tuesday, February 25.
