Where to Eat Near Detroit’s Thanksgiving Parade and Turkey Trot #DetroitFood

These spots are certified open near Woodward Avenue

Due to the holiday most restaurants and bars in Detroit will be closed on Thursday, November 28, but a few spots near the Woodward corridor are still expected to embrace the Turkey Day morning with gusto. For those who are planning to bundle up and brave the Thanksgiving Parade, Turkey Trot, and a Lions game at Ford Field, consider visiting or making a reservation for breakfast or lunch at one of these spots along the main route. All are certified open. Because parking can often be a nightmare, don’t head to the events without a game plan.
