Macomb Smoked Meats to acquire new facility #DetroitNews

Annalise Frank - Growing demand has fueled Macomb Smoked Meats' plan to acquire a building next to its Macomb Township production facility, the Michigan Economic Development Corp. announced on Thursday. The company, a joint venture between Colorado-based Thanasi Foods LLC and individuals from Michigan, will spend $2.8 million on the project and create 75 jobs. It will add packaging lines, production and warehousing. The endeavor will be financed in part with a $250,000 Michigan Business Development Program
