Hans Griemel and Richard Truett Automotive News - General Motors Co. and Honda Motor Co. said they plan to invest $85 million to build hydrogen fuel cell stacks for next-generation green vehicles at a factory in Brownstown Township. The joint venture, Fuel Cell System Manufacturing LLC, will begin producing the fuel cell systems around 2020 at the GM plant, where GM already produces battery packs for hybrid and electric vehicles.
