Where to Eat and Drink in Detroit on Election Night #DetroitFood

November 8 is almost here

Friends, fellow countrymen, there’s is less than a week until left until you get to finally cast your vote and end the utter insanity of this election cycle. Next Tuesday, November 8, we’ll finally know one way or another who will take a seat in the Oval Office in January. Here in metro Detroit people will be gathering to at local bars to watch the results roll in and raise a glass.

This Bricktown sports bar has been tracking the debates all season and will have TVs tuned into the polls on Election Night. Swallow your nerves and munch on burgers, beer, cocktails from 7 p.m. to midnight.

The Park Bar

The Detroit Free Press’s is once again hosting its watch party at downtown’s Park Bar. Grab a seat starting at 7 p.m. in the Elizabeth Theater and track the dramatic conclusion of this two-year political trainwreck on TVs and projectors, while drinking beer and cocktails. Hawaiian-style food from GoGo’s will be available for purchase. The event is free but get there early to ensure a spot.

The Midtown location of the craft beer bar chain is offering anxiety cures like half-off wings, $3.50 Local 30 drafts, $3.50 wells drinks, and $3.50 wine during an extended Election Night happy hour. Get the deals from 7 p.m. to close while tracking the results on HopCat’s many flat screen TVs.

One Under Craft Beer & Eats

Another craft beer hub in Livonia, One Under will have TVs tuned to the nail-biting news on Election Night and is offering 10-percent off individual’s bills with an “I Voted” sticker.
