Laura Cassar - In October 2011, Pinwheel Bakery owner Ann St. Peter struck a deal with a couple of former Brooklyn residents, allowing them to open Red Hook Coffee in the front of her store in Ferndale. Five years later, she is handing over the reins of her business to them. St. Peter said there is a variety of reasons for leaving her business to Red Hook's Sandi Bache Heaselgrave and Andy Heaselgrave — including family obligations and timeliness— but her recent diagnosis of a wheat allergy
