Michigan Good Food Fund grants to help launch Detroit grocery store, expand farmers market #DetroitNews

Sherri Welch - Efforts to launch a new grocery store in one of Detroit's underserved neighborhoods and expand the Northwest Detroit Farmers Market are among healthy food retail projects around the state sharing in $380,000 in awards from the Michigan Good Food Fund. The awards were made as part of the pilot Catalytic Investment Awards program of the a $30 million public-private loan fund, which provides financing and business assistance to healthy food efforts benefiting underserved communities in Michigan.
