Just Detroit News | Mapping the Most Expensive Home Sales in Detroit This Year...So Far #Detroit #JustDetroit
We've rounded up the 10 most expensive home sales we've seen in Detroit so far this year. This is definitely a "something old, something new" list of Detroit homes, with renovated lofts and condos scoring big.
Palmer Woods came in with the top two sales, with all the others scattered through the Riverfront, Corktown, Midtown, Brush Park, Indian Village, and Downtown. Everything came in over $400,000, but everything also sold for under the asking price.
Will we see some higher prices next quarter? There are certainly a lot of places currently pending on the market. An Albert Kahn home in Indian Village hit the market last week for $890,000, and we know of a pretty massive listing about to list in the next week.
Our friends at Open House provided us with a great deal of information, with some additional digging ourselves. Did we miss something? We're sure you'll let us know in the comments.
