Visteon hires Daimler exec to lead driver assistance system development #DetroitNews

Stephanie Hernandez McGavin Automotive News - Visteon Corp., which is headquartered in Van Buren Township, said Tuesday it appointed Matthias Schulze of Daimler AG as the supplier's head of advanced driver assistance system development. Schulze, 54, worked for Daimler for more than 20 years, most recently leading the group research and advanced engineering department in advanced driver assistance system development. The unit deals with autonomous driving, vehicular communication and environment perception efforts. A Visteon statement said
