Sherri Welch - In a bid to help support quality journalism amid concerns about fake news and unreliable sources of information, the Miami-based John S. and James L. Knight Foundation has committed up to $1.5 million in matching grants to 60 nonprofit media outlets across the U.S., including four in Detroit.
