Sherri Welch - The Edsel & Eleanor Ford House in Grosse Pointe Shores has been designated as a historic landmark by the National Park Service of the U.S. Department of the Interior.The estate's nonprofit operator, which had been working on getting the designation for more than four years, learned it had secured it Tuesday.
